President Donald Trump offered his condolences to the victims of a trio of attacks at Brown University, in Sydney, Australia, and in Syria on Sunday.

The Bruins made several pregame gestures to remember and honor the shooting victims in Rhode Island and Bondi Beach.

"Tweets and moments of silence are not the actions that will keep our students safe. Congress must do more," U.S. Rep. Jahana Hayes said.

“Once again, we are faced with the unspeakable pain and anguish of two deadly acts, a mass shooting at Brown University and a terrorist attack at a Chanukah celebration in Australia,” Sears wrote. Sears urged the Emory community to reject violence in all of its forms and to remain sensitive to incidents of gun violence around the world.

Two people were killed and nine others were wounded in a shooting at an engineering and physics building on Brown's campus in Providence, Rhode Island.
