Steve Sarkisian gave the Texas Longhorns' coaching staff a major shakeup on Thursday, announcing the hiring of new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, who ran Texas' offense from 2008-10.
Will Muschamp is back running an SEC defense, and it will be back at Texas, where his head coaching career was originally supposed to begin.

The program announced that after five seasons as the Longhorns' defensive coordinator, Kwiatkowski will not return next season. Kwiatkowski came to Texas alongside Steve Sarkisian in 2021.
