Jaffar Express, carrying 440 passengers from Quetta to Peshawar, is reported to have been hijacked as bogies were derailed after militants detonated an explosive under the train's engine.

The Jaffar Express hijacking by BLA militants led to a deadly 30-hour standoff, resulting in 25 deaths. Security forces successfully rescued over 300 passengers and eliminated 33 terrorists.

MEA official spokesperson Rahdnir Jaiswal said Pakistan should look inwards instead of pointing fingers and shifting the blame for its own internal problems and failures on to others.
