Kansas basketball was back in action on Monday with a Big 12 Conference road game against Houston. Here is what happened during the game.

KU’s David Coit hit a 3-pointer to get the Jayhawks within 2 (61-59) with 20 seconds left, but Houston’s Emanuel Sharp hit both free throws after getting fouled. On the next possession, KU’s Dajuan Harris turned the ball over.

UH defeated Kansas on Monday to extend its winning streak to nine games. The Cougars will finish the season with a 16-1 record on home court.
