Couple suing OptumRx over son's death, alleging his asthma meds rose by almost $500
A Wisconsin couple are suing Walgreens and Optum Rx over their son's death, claiming he was unable to afford a sudden spike of cost in his asthma medication. The suit was submitted in federal court by William and Shanon Schmidtknecht of Poynette, Wis. on Jan. 21, a year to the date that their son, 22-year-old Cole Schmidtknecht, died.
