Paul Giamatti and Eli Roth to set up their Hostel at Peacock
Maybe this will help move the needle for Peacock’s stagnating subscriber base? The streamer has picked up Eli Roth’s Hostel series, a television adaptation of the horror director’s gruesome “tortured abroad” franchise. Paul Giamatti, first announced as attached to the project over a year ago, will star in the show in an undisclosed role.
Roth directed both Hostel and 2007’s Hostel: Part II. A third film, 2011’s Hostel: Part III, was directed by Scott Spiegel and was released directly on DVD.
