A New York Jets insider urged the team to cut ties with veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor after his early exit against the Miami Dolphins.

Signs are pointing toward Brady Cook starting at quarterback for the Jets in Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

"He's always known that he can play," HC Aaron Glenn said. "He's always known that he has issues in his career, as far as playing, games being up and down. But I don't think he's ever lost confidence in himself. And I think once he got here, I think it just helped him with his confidence that the players just gravitated to who he was as a player."
