Monday’s loss to the Falcons gives the playoff-bound Rams their first losing streak of the season and cause for concern going into their regular-season finale.

Despite the loss and the narrowing path to home-field advantage, Rams head coach Sean McVay offered clarity about his plans for Stafford and the team’s key starters.

With the Rams planning to play their starters, they opened as comfortable favorites over Arizona in Week 18. According to BetMGM, the Rams are 7.5-point favorites at home. That spread feels a little small, but perhaps the books are baking in some insurance just in case McVay changes his mind and rests his starters if the game becomes meaningless.

The Rams can’t go two months without a win over a playoff team and multiple losses to bad teams and expect everyone to believe they should “run it back” in 2026. Fans will probably question the direction of the team if the Rams lose in the wild card round regardless of what happens in Week 18,
