CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns prevented their division rival from clinching the AFC North on Sunday. The Browns upset the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers, 13-6, at Huntington Bank Field. They held the Steelers out of the end zone and scoreless in the second half. Cleveland improves to 4-12.
With the game on the line, Rodgers targeted Marquez Valdes-Scantling on three consecutive plays, all of which fell incomplete in the end zone. This led to a turnover on downs and the Browns were able to kneel out the win.

The Browns got 11 yards back on third-and-17 when Shedeur Sanders scrambled. On fourth-and-6 from the Steelers 33, they elected to go for it, but Sanders' pass to Sal Cannella was low and wide and was incomplete with 10:14 remaining in the second quarter.
After that, though, it became a defensive battle — so much that no scoring was happening in the second half, and Cleveland’s defense rose to the occasion to prevent Pittsburgh from clinching a playoff spot.
