Due to weather conditions Sunday, the Celtic Cross Ceremony has been moved to inside the cathedral.

Members of Savannah’s Irish community gathered Sunday for the annual Celtic Cross Mass and Ceremony, part of the ongoing St. Patrick’s Day Committee celebrations.

Community members gathered at Emmet Park Sunday as the annual ceremony celebrated Irish heritage and helped kick off festivities leading up to the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The Druid Arts Awards ceremony planned for this March has been postponed to 2025, due to unforeseen circumstances, according to the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa, which hosts the biennial celebration.
