Engineers have completed the launch of a bridge deck weighing 1,620 tonnes over the Grand Union Canal at Longhole near Ufton in Warwickshire.

HS2 engineers have successfully launched a 130-metre-long steel bridge into position over the Grand Union Canal.

The work was completed seven ahead of schedule after the launch operation began last Wednesday (March 4).
