HBO Max’s Hacks is wrapping its Emmy run with another strong showing, landing 24 nominations for its fifth and final season, the most ever for a comedy series in a single year. That eclipsed the previous record of 23 set by FX’s The Bear in 2024 and matched in 2025 by Apple TV’s The Studio.

The Pitt' and 'Hacks' packed a punch that helped HBO Max lead the pack in Emmy nominations among platforms by a wide margin with 122 bids.
