HBO Max’s Hacks is wrapping its Emmy run with another strong showing, landing 24 nominations for its fifth and final season, the most ever for a comedy series in a single year. That eclipsed the previous record of 23 set by FX’s The Bear in 2024 and matched in 2025 by Apple TV’s The Studio.

HBO Max dominated the 2025 Emmy nominations on Wednesday with a total of 122 nods, led by "Hacks" and "The Pitt." Following closely behind in second was Netflix with a total of 111 nominations, followed by Apple TV in third with 87 nominations.
