Hamilton, Niagara and Brantford could see 20 to 40 mm of rain. The rain is expected to start Tuesday night and last through Wednesday.

Rain that moved through Wednesday night into Thursday led to four road closures in Hamilton County.

A winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:41 p.m. valid from Friday 11 a.m. until Saturday 2 p.m. for Herkimer and Hamilton counties.

Hamilton will see a rare 17 degree-day in March on Saturday — but the chance of rain and a thunderstorm will make it hard to enjoy the warm weather.
