NFL officials have released a statement after fans at the Cincinnati Bengals game complained that seats at Paycor Stadium were covered with snow.
Hamilton County Commissioner Stephanie Summerow Dumas called out the Bengals on social media after Sunday's game against the Ravens for the conditions fans dealt with due to the snow.
"Seat aisles were prioritized and are in good shape. Seats are easily wiped off and ushers are equipped to help," the Bengals said in a statement.
Many of the fans arriving for Sunday's Ravens-Bengals game found their seats covered with snow. League rules require all snow to be removed by the home team. The Bengals admitted that the seats hadn't been cleared. The NFL has provided a comment in response to an inquiry from PFT.
The Bengals dropped the shovel ahead of Sunday's snowy game against Baltimore. The quick freezing temperatures and dumping of snow in downtown Cincinnati over the past 24 hours caused the Bengals to violate NFL policy.
