Just minutes after leading the Broncos to a thrilling win over the Bills, Denver got a season-changing injury update.
The veteran quarterback was added to the Broncos’ practice squad in the wake of the season ending injury to Bo Nix, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday.
One rumor has popped up on social media claiming that Nix’s agent advised him to fake the injury. “Rumor has it #Broncos QB Bo Nix’s agent advised him to fake his ankle injury to avoid another “playoff disaster” and keep him under contract for a third consecutive season,” it reads.
The divisional round of the NFL playoffs is nearly fully set after some of the most thrilling games in recent memory. Wild-card weekend delivered as four of the five games came down to the wire.
