Penn State will add fees to sports tickets, parking and concessions as part of the new Legacy Fund campaign to raise money for scholarships and facilities.

Penn State held that the Legacy Fund contributions are not a “player talent fee,” similar to one schools like Tennessee added for future season ticket packages. These added fees are slated to go toward scholarship funds for all 31 varsity sports and toward maintaining athletic facilities, including Beaver Stadium’s ongoing $700 million renovation.
