Pinpoint alert: Rivers remain high despite calmer weather, next atmospheric river arrives Monday
It’s a PinPoint Alert Day today, but not because of active weather. It’s there because rivers are still receding and still causing big impacts. We’ll be drier today after some morning fog and sprinkles.
Conditions get cold again tonight as lows tumble down into the 20s areawide before rebounding into the 40s for afternoon highs on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will be dry until an upper-level disturbance with a cold front passes through the region late in the day into Monday.
A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day is in effect until mid-morning Monday due to slick travel in the high country and along parts of the Palmer Divide from overnight snow.
