NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Rain is moving into the area on Sunday morning. Some could be moderate to heavy at times, but most of the region will mostly see showers. The rain tapers off through the afternoon with cloudy skies and falling temperatures.

We may see some patchy fog on Sunday morning. A cold front will move through on Sunday morning too. We will see cooler temps on Sunday compared to Saturday.

The snow will taper to light snow Saturday night, then to snow showers on Sunday morning. The flakes will wind down during the morning on Sunday. Meantime, brisk winds are on tap from late Saturday night into Sunday. Gusts up to 30 mph are possible, causing blowing and drifting snow.
