Preston Smith, a defensive lineman with the Green Bay Packers, is being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to reports Tuesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Steelers will send a seventh-round draft pick to Green Bay in exchange for the veteran pass rusher.

The Pittsburgh Steelers continued to add on deadline day as they acquired defensive lineman Preston Smith from the Green Bay Packers for a 2025 seventh-round pick. The deal is pending a physical. Smith, a 10-year veteran, spent the last six seasons with the Packers. Before that, he played four years with the Washington Commanders.

Preston Smith has been traded by the Green Bay Packers to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a seventh-round pick in 2025.
