Hazelight Studios’ sci-fi fantasy adrenaline rush “Split Fiction” is the most ambitious project yet for Josef Fares, director of inventive co-op games.

Split Fiction is the latest release by, Hazelight Studios. Just like its predecessors, you can’t play Split Fiction alone, but Friend’s Pass is here.

Split Fiction” pushes the limits of genre and co-op gameplay in an imaginative adventure through two wildly different worlds.

What happens if neither of you own the game? No problem. The Friend's Pass offers a free trial for both players which includes the opening stages of Split Fiction. Both players will need to download the Friend's Pass version of the game, and once either of you purchase the full game, progresses can be continued.

"The games industry shouldn’t be only about the money," says Josef Fares, drawing a line in the sand regarding how his studio approaches making games.

Split Fiction, the new game from It Takes Two developer Hazelight Studios, doesn’t do anything particularly new. The game is a straightforward co-op adventure that strings together disparate sci-fi and fantasy games like links on a chain.
