Blue Bell voluntarily recalls ice cream distributed across 16 states after employee discovers labeling error with undeclared nuts in Moo-llennium Crunch.

"A Blue Bell employee discovered the incorrect packaging on two half gallons while restocking a retailer," read the announcement posted Friday by the Food and Drug Administration. "No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date. No other incorrect packaging has been discovered or reported to date."

Numerous recalls have been initiated this year due to the potential for damaged products, foodborne illness and undeclared allergens.
