Large crowds of Israelis took to the streets on Sunday, launching a nationwide grassroots strike and widespread protests to demand the government secure the release of 50 hostages still in Gaza.

No progressive struggle can be taken up against the Israeli government without opposing the genocide which has so far claimed at least 61,000 Palestinian lives and threatens the remaining 2.1 million with starvation.
