Amazon MGM Studios confirmed on Thursday that Peaky Blinders mastermind Knight will be taking on the script for Denis Villeneuve's 007 film, Knight, also the writer of Netflix's House of Guinness, Disney ‘s A Thousand Blows, spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast on Friday to talk more.

A Knight-penned Bond adventure is massively exciting, although it's worth remembering that the film is still in the very early stages – in fact we’re still waiting on the announcement on who will be donning the tuxedo in the next Bond adventure following Daniel Craig’s retirement in No Time to Die.

With the news that Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is to write the new James Bond film, Amazon is sending its strongest message yet to the cinema-going public about its plans for the series. And that plan is: we’re not giving you ingrates the slightest reason to whinge about this thing until it’s actually out.
