Searching for salvation far away from NHL arenas, Tristan Jarry’s phone never stopped ringing. The calls were coming from inside his old house. Now he’s back, looking quite at home, and those calls — check-ins from Pittsburgh Penguins teammates — were as beneficial as any goaltending drill or mental exercise he undertook during a couple of months in the AHL.

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is scheduled to start Thursday’s home game against the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena. Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status during an optional morning skate in Cranberry.
