The Motorola multi-band APX™ 7000 portable and APX™ 7500 mobile radios SDoCs and STRs document the successful completion of the current DHS CAP suite of Interoperability and Performance Tests.

The county is using three federal homeland security grants to buy the radios, which will allow police and fire agencies across the county to reach one another more easily during emergencies.
