Prince Harry sparked boos during his unexpected appearance on The Late Show with US host Stephen Colbert, during which he took the opportunity to throw jabs at President Donald Trump.

During a February 2024 press conference, Trump also confirmed that he wouldn’t “protect” Harry if worse came to worst for the Duke of Sussex. “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen Elizabeth II. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,” Trump said at the time.
