Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards records a historic feat never seen before after Utah Jazz takedown.

There's good news on that front. The Timberwolves released an update on DiVincenzo's injury on Friday, Jan. 24, noting that surgery will not be required and he will be re-evaluated in three weeks for a potential return after the All-Star break.

The Denver Nuggets visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night. Anthony Edwards is on the injury report alongside Donte DiVincenzo, with one player ruled out and the other listed as questionable.

Donte DiVincenzo will be out indefinitely with a left great toe sprain, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Monday. The Wolves’ combo guard suffered this injury on Jan. 15 at the end of their 116-115 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

The Timberwolves led by nine in the fourth quarter in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day matinee, and were up 95-90 after Anthony Edwards canned a jumper with 4:30 to play. But Memphis stormed back to seize control via an 11-0 run over the ensuing 2:10 to go up six.

Anthony Edwards scored 33 points, Julius Randle added 28 and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns 121-113 on Wednesday night for their fourth straight victory. The Timberwolves trailed for much of the night,

Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards is fit for their game against the Utah Jazz on January 30. With teammates Terrence Shannon and Donte DiVincenzo sidelined, Edwards' scoring prowess will be critical.

Just as Donte DiVincenzo was heating up, the injury bug bites. The Minnesota Timberwolves guard is out indefinitely due to a left big toe injury he sustained on Jan. 15 against Golden State, ESPN reported Monday. DiVincenzo, whose foot has been placed in a boot, will receive additional opinions on treatment options in the coming days.

Donte DiVincenzo will not play Friday night when the Timberwolves visit Madison Square Garden for a matchup with Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks. His absence could pose significant challenges for Minnesota.

Karl-Anthony Towns likely is the player the Knicks can least do without, especially with Mitchell Robinson still unable to practice.

Minnesota takes on Washington aiming to extend its five-game win streak. Saturday's meeting is the first of the season between the two squads.

At first, Jaylen Clark didn't realize Chris Finch was calling for him to go into the game. "When he said my name, I'm like 'Jaden (McDaniels) already down there,'" Clark said after the Timberwolves' eventful win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
