ST. PAUL, Minn. — Brad Marchand missed his first game of the season Sunday as he dealt with an upper-body injury suffered in the opening minutes of Saturday’s win in Pittsburgh. Marchand was crunched into the corner boards and fell awkwardly off a hit from defenseman P.O Joseph.
The Boston Bruins continue to sink further with their recent loss to the New York Islanders, pushing them even farther from the goals that Brad Marchand acknowledges will not be achievable this season.
