The NFC East arms race is off to a hot start, with the Washington Commanders acquiring San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel in a trade, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. As the scouting combine continues, the Commanders are getting proactive in the market and have secured Deebo's services for a 5th round pick, Rapoport added in a tweet.

The Washington Commanders drafted Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick last year. He repaid the organization's confidence by taking them to the NFC Championship game. The Commanders are displaying their belief in Daniels again by adding a key weapon to their offense.
