After going 8-9 during the 2024 season, Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort said he plans "to be active" during free agency.

Free agency is a time for difficult choices, and the San Francisco 49ers have more of those than usual in 2025. The 49ers' defense has been full of stars for the last few season, but several of those stars are now headed to free agency.

The Dallas Cowboys do not have much cap space to work with as of right now. However, even after restructures and cuts, they could lose a key free agent.

Brandon Staley, the 49ers’ assistant head coach, could leave Kyle Shanahan’s staff. He is likely to be the Saints’ new defensive coordinator under head coach Kellen Moore. If there is any doubt about the 49ers’ commitment to quarterback Brock Purdy. Owner Jed York made it clear he wants to make it with with him.
