FRISCO, Texas - Two people were taken into custody after a shooting and police chase at a movie theater in Frisco. The incident started on Sunday night in the parking lot of the Cinemark on Frisco Square Boulevard. Police said suspects in two cars were involved in a shooting.

Mecklenburg Police Department has said a pursuit didn’t occur, and a rogue driver is solely responsible for the deadly 2023 crash.

Court documents said Joshua Quinones’ early-morning calls and alleged robberies spiraled into a 100 mph chase that ended in a fiery crash, sending two people to the hospital and leaving him facing a long list of charges.

A West Allis police chase tied to a stolen vehicle and armed robbery ended with two crashes, three arrests and a recovered gun after suspects fled through a neighborhood early Sunday.

The chase began around 1 a.m. on Tuesday when Phoenix police officers tried to stop a car in the Maryvale neighborhood. The car sped away through Phoenix, taking Interstate 10 east to Pinal County. The car eventually came to a stop on the Loop 202 Red Mountain freeway near Mesa Drive. The driver got out and ran, leading officers on a foot chase.

Chicago police gave chase, and police scanner traffic indicated they pursued the vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, then onto the Dan Ryan Expressway and finally into the West Lawn neighborhood.
