Gov. Newsom slams Trump administration during fireside chat

Newsom’s appearance is reminiscent of last year’s trip to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Belém, Brazil, where he stepped into the American void left by Trump’s absence.

Newsom also said that he’s “living rent-free” in Trump’s head. “We’re deeply in their head, I think the affordability agenda appears to be, I’m living rent-free in Trump’s head,” said Newsom, who is considered a frontrunner for the 2028 Democratic Party nomination for president.
