A propane tank explosion caused a fire to a vacant home in Canton, believed to have been ignited by squatters using the tank as a makeshift heat source.

Scriba, N.Y. - A fire and exploding propane tanks severely damaged a house in Oswego County this week, firefighters said. The Scriba Fire Department responded to 499 Route 51A at around 2:46 p.m.

The explosion rocked Savita Naturals, a commercial facility in Swedesboro that processes cocoa butter for the chocolate industry.
