The Canadian government has announced a big package of counter-tariffs against US-made products after President Donald Trump confirmed that his administration will go ahead with levies against Canada and Mexico on Tuesday.

The Bombay High Court stayed the order to register an FIR against former SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and others, citing lack of detail and evidence in the special court's ruling. The complainant has been given four weeks to file a response.

The Bombay High Court granted relief to former Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) chief Madhabi Puri Buch on Tuesday by staying a special Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court's order directing a First Information Report (FIR) to be filed against her for alleged stock market fraud and regulatory violations.
