Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein bonded over "money and sex" according to explosive new book by author Andrew Lownie about the disgraced Duke of York.

A posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre, who accused disgraced US financier Jeffrey Epstein and Britain’s Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, is set to be released in October.

Prince Andrew’s account of the beginnings of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein have been disputed by the disgraced financier’s former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. The claims were revealed as transcripts from a US Department of Justice interview with Ms Maxwell were published.
