Rockstar has acquired a new Australian studio, spurring suggestions that the company will look to delay GTA 6 and remaster classic titles to fill the gap in the release schedule

Rockstar's global network of development studios are understood to collaborate on big games, so it's possible Rockstar Australia is also working on GTA 6. Nothing is confirmed, however, and Rockstar is known to be one of the more secretive gaming companies. Officially speaking, there is no word on what Rockstar Australia is working on.

Rockstar Games, the team behind the legendary Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption franchises, has today announced its intention to acquire Video Games Deluxe — a Syndney-based game developer — as the studio aims to get GTA 6 out the door in 2025.
