Vice President JD Vance criticizes Atlanta's safety and attacks Senator Jon Ossoff during a speech on tax cuts in Georgia.

Vice President JD Vance spoke in Peachtree City Thursday where he promoted the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) as a “tax cut for families” while mounting a campaign against Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia.

Vice President JD Vance will address RNC members in Atlanta earlier in the day before headlining a midday event in Peachtree City. Exact times have not yet been announced.

During his remarks at a rally today in Peachtree City, Georgia, Vice President JD Vance scolded American leaders for not getting homeless people off the streets and giving them medical care.

The vice president spoke about the administration's domestic agenda enacted in a sweeping bill last month that will shift resources from social safety programs to immigration enforcement and tax cuts.

While speaking to a crowd in Peachtree City, Vance aimed to promote how the GOP’s sweeping budget bill could help working-class American families. During his remarks, he tore into former President Joe Biden’s administration, claiming that some of its policies have caused rural hospitals to struggle as a result.
