With the second overall pick in the Professional Women’s Hockey League draft, the Boston Fleet selected defender Haley Winn.

The Fleet made no trades on draft night, standing pat to select three forwards, two defenders, and one goaltender.

The 5’10” goalie will be a good backup to Aerin Frankel. Following Peslarova and Soderberg departing the PWHL, the backup goalie spot was open for the Fleet.
