When Katie Chronister's softball career ended in May 2021, she entered an identity crisis. Four years later, she's found purpose away and close to the game she loves.

This is the second year in a row that Erickson has won the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. In her career at Florida behind the plate, Erickson has only made three errors for a .995 fielding percentage.

The 2025 season for Florida softball ended with two straight losses in OKC. The Gators are still a powerhouse, but the former championship glory continues to fade.
