On Thursday, Google announced that it was making two of its most popular features available to all users: Deep Research and Gems. Both of these features will allow users to unlock another level of Gemini assistance, even adding agentic capabilities.

Google’s Gemini AI has steadily made its way to the best of its software suite, from native Android integrations to interoperability with Workspace apps such as Gmail and Docs. However, some of the most advanced Gemini features have remained locked behind a subscription paywall.

Google is taking Gemini to the next level and giving users more with major upgrades aimed to make Gemini even more personal, plus many of the upgrades are free.
