Tatiana Schlossberg, the granddaughter of late President John F. Kennedy, has died shortly after announcing she had a terminal cancer diagnosis, the JFK Library Foundation said Tuesday.

Dec 30 (Reuters) - Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of the 35th U.S. president, John F. Kennedy, died on Tuesday after revealing in November she had been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia.

She wrote of months of chemotherapy and a postpartum hemorrhage, from which she almost bled to death, followed by more chemo and then a stem cell transplant — a Hail Mary pass that might cure her.
