An hours-long standoff between Louisville police and a man who fired guns outside a home in the Fairdale neighborhood ended with the suspect’s arrest.

According to the Kentucky Transporation Cabinet, KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road in Marshall County is closed between KY 408/E. 12th Street and KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road because of high water.
