Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel loves messing with the NFL Network combine camera crew when it highlights him on the broadcast. This year, McDaniel playfully hid behind his hand and peeked out behind it to check and see if he was still being recorded while watching combine drills.

This grouping of important positions always draws a big crowd of NFL personnel, and the NFL Network combine cameras are always looking to highlight big names in the stands. On Saturday, Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel was featured on the broadcast— and he had a funny reaction upon realizing it.

McDaniel previously worked with Slowik with the San Francisco 49ers before taking the helm in Miami, and in Washington more than a decade ago. Slowik’s brother, Ryan, was already on the Dolphins’ staff as defensive backs coach and defensive pass game specialist.

It appears as though the Miami Dolphins are moving forward as though they're not going to have a key part of their roster back for 2025 - although that last part still remains to be seen. Mike McDaniel met with the media at the NFL Combine on Tuesday and discussed a number of topics ranging from the draft to free agency and his own roster.

The Miami Dolphins desperately need to address certain areas of their roster, with the principal among them being both sides of the line of scrimmage and in the secondary, as well as an experienced backup QB.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel says the team has a couple of offensive linemen in mind heading into free agency.
