A former Nintendo sales employee addresses the recent leaks regarding the suggested retail price of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.

So far, Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be able to play most games from the previous generation along with Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games. That includes physical and digital Nintendo Switch 1 games. However, the video game giant explained that some games may not be compatible.

One former Nintendo employee has suggested Switch 2 isn't as far away as you may thing, and has said that retailer leaks are unlikely to hold any substance as they know "nothing"

A former Nintendo sales lead has predicted when exactly they think the Switch 2 will release. The console has been given an official release window of 2025 but appearing on the Kit & Krysta Podcast, a former employee of the Nintendo of America sales team called Sean revealed he thinks it will release in June.
