Arch Manning is reportedly taking a pay cut in revenue share at Texas in 2026 in hope of helping the Longhorns build a championship roster ahead of what could be his final college season.

“Arch is playing football at Texas next year,” the quarterback’s father, Cooper Manning, said via text to ESPN’s Dave Wilson on the evening of Monday, December 15.

The decision was widely expected after Manning delivered an uneven performance in his first season as Texas’ full-time starter.
