However, David Dastmalchian was ultimately cast in the role. The production for the Street Fighter movie will reportedly begin in Atlanta, Georgia, in Fall 2025.

Rhodes joins a cast that already includes Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, David Dastmalchian, 50 Cent and fellow WWE Superstar and former World Champion Roman Reigns.

WWE rivals Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have reportedly been cast in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. They join a star-studded cast that includes Jason Momoa and 50 Cent.

David Dastmalchian will portray the series’ iconic villain M. Bison, while Orville Peck will appear as Vega. Callina Liang has been cast as Chun-Li, and Andrew Schulz will play Dan Hibiki.

To name a few, Jason Mamoa is Blanka, Roman Reigns is Akuma, David Dastmalchian is M. Bison, and 50 Cent is Balrog.
