A man is dead and two others are seriously hurt after a head-on crash on SR-40 in Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol says. According to the FHP, the crash happened just before 11:30 p.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the 28-year-old man from Fort Wayne, Indiana, died at the scene of the crash July 7.
