Nico Hülkenberg has finally made it onto the podium with third place at the British Grand Prix. That ends the longest wait in career starts for a driver before claiming a top-three finish in Formula 1 history.

Not much was expected of Nico Hulkenberg at the British Grand Prix after the Sauber driver could only muster 19th place in qualifying. Fast forward 52 laps of chaotic wet-weather racing and the 37-year-old came through the field, aided by a perfectly executed Sauber strategy, to achieve his very first F1 podium on his 239th attempt.
