Four people were killed and a firefighter was injured following a house fire early Monday morning in Hartford, according to Fire Chief Rodney Barco.

Fire officials said four additional people in the home, two adults and two children, were taken to area hospitals along with a firefighter.

The investigation continues into a house fire in Hartford that left two kids and two adults dead on Monday. Flames ripped through the home on Shultas Place early Monday morning. Neighbors say a big family lived in the home.
