Along with the lead, Tessa Thompson, the ensemble cast of Hedda includes Imogen Poots, Tom Bateman, Nicholas Pinnock, Nina Hoss, Finbar Lynch, Mirren Mack, Jamael Westman, Saffron Hocking, and Kathryn Hunter. Nia DaCosta's reinvention of  Henrik Ibsen's classic 19th century play, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7 before having a limited theatrical release on Oct. 22 and arriving on Prime Video on Oct.

Hedda', their take on the Ibsen classic, features a lesbian love triangle and a protagonist who “wants people’s animals to come out.”
